I Am A Lifelong Learner

My favorite of the 23 things was Blogger and Widgets. I had used Live Journal, which is a pain, and once I had discovered how to add widgets, I couldn't stop. This blog is fun and addicting.

The 23 things exercise was educational and entertaining. There are 2 things I would change: 1. Make it open ended. Sometimes, there are better sites than the ones we're given. 2. This started out great, but then summer started, and I didn't have time to breathe much less use the computer for anything other than looking up summer reading lists. The majority of my staff had to drop out. Even I'm doing half the work on the last day.

Overdrive

Overdrive is completely useless. It doesn't matter what titles it has, it matters more what it doesn't have: Twilight, Harry Potter, The Firm, My Sister's Keeper, and White Fang. Like I said, useless.

Podcasts

Sadly, I only trust ITunes for my podcasts and I subscribe to anything LOST related. So, while a million other podcasts exist, the only reliable ones I've found are on ITunes.

YouTube

I'm one of those losers who spend hours every night watching other people's videos on YouTube and never upload my own. That's because I don't own a video camera. Yes, my digital and my cell both have video capabilities, but that would require there to be something worth video recording. So, I have over 200 videos in my favorites, and I watch them over and over. My favorites right now are anything to do with Ryan Wolfe of CSI: Miami and Justin and Rebecca of Brothers and Sisters.

Myxer

Myxer has quickly become my favorite go to site for free ringtones. It's because of Myxer that I learned how to extract data from my text messages! I even learned how to bluetooth songs to my friends!!

Zoho Writer

Zoho Writer is very similar to Google Docs, which I love. Google Docs seems easier. I mean, how the heck do you do a spreadsheet on Zoho? Anyone?

PBCLS WIKI

The PBCLS WIKI is easy and fun. I got to see what everyone else's likes were.

Wikis

Wikis are great for coordinating events with large groups of people. They're also great for analyzing LOST episodes.
